Like...
Change Tru's pic to a new one..
Change the background,or change the font color...
Add a 'Cold Storage Morgue' category to clean out some of the 'dead' threads..
Add 'this' new category...
Add a new Avatar of 'this' person...
...Or maybe Add a chat room?

yo, i think you should make a chatroom, that would be cool... hey, this site is super cool...i really anjoy eliza's show, mostly because evertime i see her, i see me. i look exactly like her, everyone i meet is like, ' you look like eliza dushku!" and im like, ya! lol...i always get mistaken for her, so its pretty cool.  |

I think maybe the picture of Tru should be changed. It's been here since I first signed up... seems like forever ago although it.. hasn't been, lmao. But uhm... maybe to another recent picture of the beautiful Eliza?
I think everything else, the backgroung and font, they're actually a good pick. It would feel to foreign if they got changed, like I'd never been here before... or maybe that's a good thing?

Im looking into a chat room, but so far they either want an arm and a leg, or they want to kill you with popups...

I meant it feels as though I've been here forever, on this site, seeing as though I have no life of my own, heh. I also like the picture, a lot and the whole morgue background is kewl too... maybe you don't have to change it? Just a suggestion because she's done magazines and such for the promotion of TC and even more cast pictures, ect.
What size do that pictures have to be?

I agree that pic needs to be changed, also i think on the banner it should have like the next weeks episode name and time and a small summary and other special days or bdays. Also i would love to have a chat room. I think that wud be an excellent thing to have.

I think you should make a vbulletin instead of proboards, because it is trucalling.com, and proboards aren't too good. I was going to start a Tru Calling website/board this year, but since the domain name was taken. Just a suggestion;)

Great ideas, I changed the pic after several ppl liked the idea.
Adding 'next weeks' Ep info is really cool...and Im working on a chat room.

Hi TC,
Actually having the forum on proboards is costing more than having it on vbulletin because of the 'ad free' and separate 'image hosting'.
Not to mention the contests, with 5 prize winners...so far.
:-)
But, of the few things I have learned in life, such as 'let people live their own lives', another is 'if it aint broke dont fix it'.
Id prefer a small group of hard core TC fans than a million part time fans posting only a few sentences.
On this forum your posts can be 10,000 characters long, and you can add the 'images', too.
In fact the reason I even wanted a forum in the first place was a Buffy forum, which is still packed every single day, even to today, that I really like.
And there are no pictures, no avatars, no music, no symbols or 'stars',or gifs or jpgs, just 'words'.
Its just real fans discussing their favorite show.
With this forum there exists a happy medium, where its not only 'words' and not a 'special effects' show, its in the middle, so people from 'both groups can join in if they like, and can still feel 'at home'.
When I was a kid the heat was shut off during a blizzard and we actually built a 'camp fire' in the kitchen and huddled around it wearing blankets to keep warm, like Valley Forge....it was like camping and everyone was together, it was 'great'.
Its all about the love for the show, its like family, and in the end it doesnt matter if your 'living' in the gutter or a mansion, its just a matter of 'where your heart is'.

...I do miss 'camping'...

I, myself, am a spoiled brat, LOL, but I have been learning about wanting what I already have and valuing it, not only from your posts but from the many friends I've come to have this year. Including people from this board. So now that I've said that... what's a vbulletin? LOL  |
