Yea i read that article and i was pretty pizzed that SMG wont do atleast one guest appearance. They better get Willow or Faith to do one atleast this season or it may as well be the last if they dont get many viewers.

I posted the TV Guide article a while back.. it's somewhere around here.. Alexis is trying to talk Aly into reprising Willow on Angel right now. But in an appearance on Last Call with Carson Daly she said that she thought it was time [like in tons of others] but she also said that she wants to go on to different things to sort of stretch and explore her talents and that she would just like Willow to be left there. She said she would like to not have to play Willow again because she was comfortable with how things ended and she wants them to sort of stay that way. So we most likely won't see her this season, as with SMG, but if Alexis can talk her into it or she gets a script with Willow's name in it that would be fun to do, we'll probably see her next season. A good example of her reprising a role would be American Pie 2 and 3. She actually thought that the first of the trilogy would be it and she was fine with that until she got the script for the second movie and she thought it was hilarious and wanted to do it. Then she was sure it was over for the two-parter[then] and she didn't have plans to do another one and again, she got a hilarious script that she thought would be very fun to do and she signed on again to play Michelle in American Wedding. So good example of her saying she'd like to go on to other things but seeing a script she liked and acted on it [or to it ].

So Alyson would never agree to play Willow again...unless she liked the script...oh hell, offer them all a
BUFFY MOVIE!

*gets down on one knee infront of my imaginary Joss* I bow down before you, all mighty one. I beg of you to do this one favor for me. Just one. Please.. make a Buffy movie. *looks at him sweetly*
There was my plea to him. Any others?

$ isn't an issue, Joss has TONS of it. It's just because all the actors are like.. moving on, besides those of Angel and Joss really needs a break. But we can still hope!

JW had Buffy and still has Angel but I doubt that hes got money to throw away, and probably still has to keep 'working'. Uncle Sam also takes a very large percentage of all the money they make. A Buffy Movie hit would set him and the stars for life.

I would really like to see a Buffy movie, with all the actors from Buffy and Angel. It would be way better than the original Buffy Movie. Which I have to say, sucked.

Thats really too bad that SMG wont guest star on Angel this season.. But like DB said. I hope that SMG will appear for the series finalle, just like he did on her series finale.

She won't appear for some main reasons: 1. She's got a few movie roles lined up at the moment, I know that that won't stop her from making a guest appearance on Angel but she's trying to focus on her Movie Career. 2. Sarah has been working 7 years on Buffy [with guest appearances on Angel] and needs a well deserved break. She's extremely exhausted and you would be too, ya know? 3. She doesn't think it's the right time for Buffy to come to LA and I sort of agree with her. As much as I'd like Spike and Buffy to make with the couple magic, I think it's not the exact right time for it either. Though there are some pretty legitimate reasons Buffy should come to LA, there are also equally legitimate reasons why she shouldn't. JW is pretty much set for life right now. He keeps making money whenever the DVDs/VHS of the Buffy seasons get bought [and at my local Circuit City, they're very seldom in, pretty much always sold out] and whenever the episodes are aired and whenever more networks want to buy reruns of Buffy/Angel. He also gets money for the Buffy Merchandise, not to mention ANYTHING Buffy, but also ANYTHING Angel [like the DVDs/VHS; Merchandise, ect.] He's set, ya know, it's good to keep on with the money making because his son will eventually go to grow up and go to college and inherit his father's fortune. I think Joss needs a little off time to spend with his kid and his wife, we need more fantastic ideas here and if our main source is out, we're out. Also, he must be majorly exhausted as well. But if he says [which he does] that a Buffy/Angel movie isn't out of the question, we shouldn't rule it out, either.

Honestly, a buffy movie wud be good! But a movie lasts wut 2-3 hrs... i think even after the movie all of us wud want a sequel cz its not smthg that everything we want will be answered in 2-3hrs.
I wudnt mind them doing a buffy movie if they were going to have a tv spin-off from it like a Willow spinoff or still hoping for a faith spin off.....

Like I said, somewhere in there, I'd have to find it again... anyway, like I said, if Joss isn't ruling out the hope for a Buffy Movie, I think we, as fans, shouldn't rule it out either. Let us keep the hope alive for a Buffy Movie!
Also, the good thing, Sarah said that she'd be more than happy to do a Buffy Movie, that's a fact. And so if there is to be one, 'Buffy' will actually be in it!
