not sure if this is the exact words cause i havent seen this ep in a while, but its something along the lines of:

(guy stands up who was shot in the chest and presumed dead by harrison and his 'gf')
GIRLFRIEND: what?...
GUY: y'know, its the strangest thing. i got the weirdest call from a girl begging me to wear a bulletproof vest here today.
(flashback to tru calling guy whose name i can't remember.) from 'brothers keeper'

He also says in Daddy's Girl (I think) that he was working as @ssistant the night they brought Tru's mom in. And Tru's mom died ten years ago. Maybe the actor meant to say 18, or something like that, but it wasn't redone.
