Lets get some TC quotes going..I must admit Ive been enjoying the show and not listening for them...

But I did laugh when she was asked how work was last night and she replied, 'Pretty dead'.

I didnt expect that because she has a 'very difficult' job.

Yea thats kind of my proof (to myself) that Tru's mom p@ssed some sort of gift to Tru when she died. It all sounds like a good theory. We'll probably learn later on in the series.

Here's my theory:

~Maybe Tru Davies doesn't time travel. Maybe it's like a chosen power. I think this because maybe her mother had it, and Tru didn't know. I think this because, it said that the death rate before her mother was killed, was extremely low, and then her mother died and the death rate went up. So maybe, Her motherhad the chosen gift, and it p@ssed down to Tru. And now tru can help people.~ ~ I dont really know how to explain how she goes back in time, but maybe she doesn't go back in time, maybe its a power to see into the future, and it just makes Tru seem like she relived the day~
Maybe, like i said, its Tru's "chosen" gift. Maybe thats why the show was changed to the name Tru Calling. Becuase it is Tru Davies Calling.
