Hey!
Just got finished watching the premiere of Tru Calling. It was awesome and I think I'll be watching many episodes to come. Although the dialoge was a little off at some points, I know it'll just get better and better as it goes along.
I definately liked Davis... think that was his name. Tru's boss at the morgue. I think he is hilarious. 'You're eyeliner... mac 5?'
So anyway, how'd you guys like?

Was that it!!!!! October 30, 2003. 8:00 PM, 2000 hrs (24hr time), Thursday. With freshly popped popcorn, iced drink of choice in hand and favorite lounge chair in place. I turned off my telephones (home & cell), pager, palm pilot, and computer. Advised family, friends and co workers not to bother me under the fear of death by firing squad. Got the picture. I'm ready, ready for the first installment, the premiere episode of Tru Calling.
Eliza you are as beautiful and talented as I remember. It is unfortunate that your retun to prime time was not . It was such a bomb, lack of adventure, so dim, need I go on. And after the big let down from the last Buffy episode. I sat back and awaited your return with beaded breath. Was that it? Did I miss something when I blinked? Was I so blinded by ..........? Ok, I must compose myself. I was so reminded of Buffy's last episode. Big, big build up and bigger, bigger let down.
My only hope is next weeks show is so much better, or the producers have decieded to go back to the drawing board and again try next year.
Fox give Eliza a chance!!!! We love that fresh face. We need that female heroine that battles evil, muggers and the lot, not to forget vampires. To come back fresh and relaxed as before the battle. This is not NYPD Blue, Law and Order or Cops. I know other networks, but alll the same. We need her to be that. We've got to have her, should I go on (do you get the point). I look forward to seeing more of Eliza. And hope that Fox will continue to be her venue.
Peace, PatJ Philadelphia

I love the music at the beginning...haunting, a great intro to what's going to be a great series. Who did the music? Who is Full Blown Rose? Why haven't I heard of them before? Who is We 3 Kings? I have to hear more from them!!

Hey PatJ, Its too bad that you didnt like the premiere, as you probably know most premieres are pretty bad. For me, it hit 'home', and Im already hooked...and I had been wondering what I would do if I hated the show, and I thought I would just give the forum to M or Spikegirl... that aint gonna happen now! I hope you give it a chance; after peeking at future spoilers I know that the show really gets 'serious' and may eventually turn off some 'Faith' fans while attracting more 'adult' viewers. If you've ever had your house firebombed, or your neighborhood invaded by rats, or had the US Army posted outside your front door, (I have) you would really appreciate the thought that someone could 'right' 'what once went wrong'. Maybe thats why I liked Quantum Leap? I just got home from work so Im partially delarious, from sheer exhaustion.... I just hope that ppl. wont decide yea or nea on the show from just the premiere. I already think Id miss it...
