Do you want to contact the Governor of Florida, Jeb Bush (The President's Brother) and tell him what you think? Heres his email address: jeb.bush@myflorida.comI just read that Florida has the death penalty. I personally was always against the death penalty, but, not now.

Gawd.. that's terrible! Okay, you know what's bad though? Jeb Bush. Gah! Why can't we have a smart and sophisticated governer like everywhere else besides.. CA.
I was never really against the death penalty because I had always thought anyone who got it.. deserved it. And I mean.. this sort of prooves that, don't you think?

OK i'LL TRADE YA nEW jERSEY's Governor for Jeb Bush.
They showed on the news that you should drop to ground, kick, scream, bite, pull away and run away from anyone taking you againt your will.
They should teach this in school.
And everyone should practice this.

Some people can't fight back. There are ways your attacker can make sure of that. Also ways your attacker can knock you unconcious from the time they lay a finger on you through the time they.. either make a ransom for you, or kill you.

You can never know whats going to happen. Is it better to co-operate or to fight? The odds are with you if you fight. There was just a case in NYC of a man robbing women and then attacking them. One woman fought him and escaped.

Ted Bundy was captured after his third escape from prison with the help of a near-victim.
Not an expert, but from what I've learned, crime scene no.2 is one you usually don't come back from.
Touchy subject all around, but I'm very much in favour of the death penalty, especially for those who have violated kids, the elderly, or the handicapped. I could be soooo creative with that. I'm also in favour of doing things the way it was done in the old west. Street justice is always good, too. I'm pretty old ancient-fashioned in regards to these things. I'd like to see both Hussein's and bin Laden's heads on pikes in front of the White House.
OK, now that I've disgusted everyone, have they caught the SOB that did this? Next question, does Florida still utilize the electric chair? If so, they should strap him in and set it on low-voltage and leave him there for a few weeks or something.
Sorry, I'm just kinda p@ssionate about this kinda thing.

They caught him.
I don't know, but my guess is that Florida uses lethal injection.
I would give him to her family.
Also, if they use the chair I'll throw the switch.

Lethal injection. Both KS and MO have that now. I'm against it, unless that was the technique the killer used on his/her victim(s). About the chair, remember, low-voltage.

Response from Governor Bush to my email: ---------------
Quote: From: Jeb.Bush@MyFlorida.com (Governor Jeb Bush) Date: Thu, Feb 19, Subject: Regarding the tragic death of Carlie Brucia
Thank you for writing Governor Bush regarding the tragic death of Carlie Brucia. The Governor received your email and asked me to respond.
Like many, Governor Bush was horrified after witnessing the tape of Carlie's abduction and later learning of her death. He is also frustrated and concerned over the circumstances that made it possible for this crime to be committed. Protecting Florida's children is a top priority. However, the executive and legislative branches of government can only do so much. The judiciary must also do its part as the ultimate power to sentence lies exclusively with the court. Governor Bush has a history of advocating for tough sentencing laws such as 10-20-Life and the " Dangerous Sexual Felony Offender Act," which he signed into law last year. He will continue to study the facts surrounding this case in an effort to determine whether new legislation is necessary. Thank you again for writing. The Governor's thoughts and prayers remain with Carlie's family and friends as they continue to mourn her loss. Sincerely, Lauren O'Connor Office of Citizens' Services -end quote- -------------------
Weak politics.
He should have said something like, 'I am working hard to have this bastard fried. As I know he'll fry for all eternity right after that.'
I really liked this part: 'Thank you for writing Governor Bush regarding the tragic death of Carlie Brucia'.
A car accident is a tragic death.
This was the brutal murder of an 11 year old girl.

He should have said something like, 'I am working hard to have this bastard fried. As I know he'll fry for all eternity right after that.' Now that's what I'm talking about. And the fry should be a slooow sizzle.

For those of you who don't know, Jeb Bush is a worse governor than frickin' Arnold Swartzenegar. Trust me. He hasn't done and won't do jack about this besides possibly putting this man in jail which shouldn't be the case, it should be death, yes?
Jeb is known to be the incopetent one of the Bush family yet he's a governor? This I do not understand. How the hell did he get elected?
...
I'm writing an angry letter.

Often Governor's have to 'play politics'. Maybe he'll say the politically correct things and make sure the killer gets put into the general population. That would give him a prison sentence of about ten days.
