OK, I read someones post that was something like 'Ripping off Buffy'...
it said that Tru's abilities were similar to a Slayer's abilities...when someone dies then the next person is chosen...
..did they ever say where Tru's Mom WORKED?...Could it have been another morgue?....did she have this ability before Tru, and did she use it SAVE a killer?...then when she tried to stop him from killing again, did he kill her?!
I know...big 'ifs'...but, it would explain a whole lot...what if this killer is still alive and free...and he discovers that TRU now has this power?
Would he fear that she might also learn his secret?
And what might he do about it?

You're right!
I was just trying to put the pieces together, and not really worrying about where they came from.
You did say that she may have gotten the power from her Mother.
It was in the 'Ripping off Buffy' post that I first heard the theory that its a 'line' like Slayers,but you made the connection with her Mother.
Another post I found said she may have been given the power when her Mother spoke to her at her funeral, which makes sense.
If Tru's Mom did have this power/ability, she couldn't use it unless she worked around, or was around recently dead ppl., thats why I asked if she ever worked at a Morgue?
And since she was murdered, I went back to an old idea...what happens if Tru saves a murderer? Would she feel responsible and follow him around trying to catch him?...And what would happen?
Her Mother may have already done exactly this...and the big question would be..
is this killer still out there?...and will he ever discover that Tru now has the power...another idea, what if Tru saves someone that this person kills?
That might bring her Mom's Killer right back into her life..!
..that sounds like a two part Ep...
BTW Did anyone catch Tru's Mom's name?

Everything you just said, T, about the killer coming back into Tru's life is so possible, wouldn't it make for a great season ender? Maybe even a good two-part season ender? Because we all know the show will stay on for a whole season, right?
But do we have proof that her mom had this power? Or maybe it was just her death in front of Tru that activated the power and was never given to anyone before? Then Tru could be the first? Or maybe it was given to all girls who witnessed the murder of a parent or sibling and should have had the right to go back and change what happened? I'm thinking these questions will be answered soon... about how she got it, where it came from, who else has it. Or... well, I hope they get answered because it's such a big mystery and to tell you the truth now I'm gunna be thinking about it all day! Lmao.
And yea, Tru's mom is Elise Davies. It was on the headstone.... Elise, Eliza, Elise, Eliza....
