What's with all the getting pizzed off here, people? Be happy that Angel had a long run and that the series finale was left as a cliff-hanger for a reason. I think the point of the ending was redemption. Angel's time on both shows was always about redemption and in the end, he got it. It's a possibility they could have lived.. but I think they all died. In battle.. they redeemed themselves by going down in the fight for good.. taking a stand and saving the world time and time again. Don't be angry how it went, be happy about the final message it sent out. Be happy that there may still be a future in the Buffyverse for the Angel team.Don't be angry that Charisma left the show.. she had a baby, she became a mother. It's difficult, and dealing with the demands of a weekly series is hard when you have a newborn. Charisma did come back for an episode.. to close up her character, so don't be angry. Be happy that she did come back...
I don't understand all the anger.
You Bring up some very good points ;D
Your post is very thoughtful. (Thumbs UP)
Howerever, I am one of those who feel cheated by the ending they chose to write.
For me personally it hit the wrong note on most everythig they did.
(1)
The way the writers chose to end it left no room for a spin off.
(2)
Killing Lindsey was a dishonorable act and cowardly
(3)
"Anne" did not need to be included in the final episode.
(4)
Harmony's betrail was just commonplace
If she had chosen to die fighting with her
"Blondy Bear"(aka Spike)
that would have been something ;D
(5)
Connor's part in the final episode was commonplace too
Had he died fighting along side his Father That would have been deeply moving
(6)
No one asked Ileara What she watned.
What if She what if she wanted to be with Wesly ;D

I hate to quote myself but how does anyone feel about my own choice of ending?
