My fav has to be Buffy, she had to carry the show, thats why its called Buffy. If it wasn't for SMG..if someone else had gotten the part....um, a tv show about a small high school cheerleader that kills Vampires at night?! LOL, give me a break! The show should have last all of 3 episodes.... Without SMG there would probably be no Angel, and Eliza probably wouldn't have Tru Calling, and 'Wes' and 'Willow' probably wouldn't be engaged... The 'B-verse' owes a world of debt to 'Buffy'! Having said that, when I was busy Id skip the show and catch it again later...but not when Faith was going to be on, that was always an 'event', something not to be missed. So my fav character? Buffy Fav guest star: Faith As for Tara, alot of ppl LOVE Tara, I never 'got it'...Willow and Oz, now that seems right. It would be cool to see Willow on Angel again and hook up with Wes, art imitating life... And I do like Anya, she stuck around and died for the cause, not running away like the last time, Im sure shes back 'at her old job' right now,and dreaming of Xander. Also I really didnt like Dawn, they didnt really use her 'keyness', well, I didnt like her until she zapped Xander and kicked Buffy! In one second she created a television cl@ssic, Dawn kicked 'The Slayer' in the shin, and she yelledddd 'Ow!!!'...that was priceless.

[shadow=blue,left,300] Well my favorite character(s) would have to be Buffy, Spike, and Tara. I also *loved* Anya, she was funny, full of life/character, and like alredi said, died for the cause. That part really brought a tear to my eye because she died saving Andrew's life and she died for the world and I say that gets her major hit points lmao. I totally agree with Tchaikovsky because without Sarah Michelle Gellar, we wouldn't have a show here. If anyone else was playing the roll of Buffy I'm sure the show wouldn't have as many viewers because it's obvious Sarah [Michelle Gellar] was always supposed to play that role. I've always liked Buffy, through thick and thin. There's been times where she's been a little selfish but she had the right to be because she saves the world and saves everyone who lives in the world so she's always thinking about her live and the lives of others so she deserves a little down time to just worry about herself, she really has earned that right. In season seven when she was saying 'If I die, you're the next slayer' she wasn't being selfish or stuck up or self centered, because she also pointed out if faith dies and it's the telling the truth. Also she changed that rule in the end, which I thought was an amazing plan. Yah, the whole *kick* "ow" "dumb@ss" thing was waay priceless. It was so original and funny, I mean it was just a funny moment that should always be remembered because that's a moment when Dawn truely shined. I think I started to like Dawn around the time when Xander told Dawn how special she was even if she wasn't a slayer. But then when Dawn and them kicked Buffy out of her own house I was pizzed. Then at the finale I liked her again (I have an on-off thing about her, lmao) because she did good, she did her part in the fight against evil and she helped in saving the world. At the beginning i always thought Dawn was a stuck up little whiner but she's really grown as a character. I think my fav. guest star would be Faith as well, she brings so much attitude to the show and a kind of balance of evil/good at the same time. Just that whole...Princable Wood thing was...not understandable. I mean, he's nice, I personally liked him until he tried to kill Spike, but neways, he's a nice guy, overall an O.K. character but I just can't see Faith and him together like that. I dunno *shrugs*. The Tara thing, it was sort of sweet and p@ssionate and something Willow really never had with Oz. Willow and Oz *did* seem right, I liked Seth on the show, a lot, but he was also being called for movies so if Oz wasn't there, you need someone to replace him, and why not explore with something really not scene on TV a lot. I liked Tara, but then again a lot of people didn't like her, or didn't agree with the lesbian thing, I really don't mind it, it's just nature lmao. I'm sure Alyson [Hannigan] will guest star on Angel as Willow again, i'd like to see that. The friendship between her and Fred was good, they're so alike, I personally think David [Greenwalt] and Joss [Whedon] kind of built the character Fred off of Willow from the first few years of Buffy. Also the chemistry between Wesley and Willow is amazing, besides the fact Alyson and Alexis [Denisof] are engaged to be married [/shadow]

Spikesgirl4evr, It does seem like Fred is like a younger Willow, they probably did do that on purpose...good observation. And the Faith & Wood thing just didnt seem right to me, except as 'the world's probably going to end' and your the only one available, so why not..?..ya know? As for Wes and Willow, they could surprise eveyone by being caught in 'the shower' together...hey, they are getting married, so that would be no biggie for them. And I too hated Kennedy, but after Buffy was kicked out of HER OWN HOUSE, and Faith basically told Kennedy to 'shut up already!', she seemed to FINALLY get the point. And the look on her face after Buffy came in and dusted the attacking Ubies with the Scythe just as the sit's were about to get it!...priceless! I think she finally gave Buffy the respect she deserves at that point. And maybe she was a little scared of her, too?

I would definetly say that when faith guest appeared on Angel, Fred started dressing a lot like her which was about time. I could c Fred being like willow. As for Kennedy, i hated her in the beginning with the whole being Willows girlfriend cz i love Tara so much more and they seemed to be so good when they were together. I dont know if it was me but when Willow and Tara were dealing, Willow was like the dominant one, the one who couldnt live without Tara, loved her like crazy the one who stood out the most out of the two of them but with Kennedy it seemed like Kennedy was trying a lot more then Willow. Well, i like Kennedy just not being Willow's girlfriend i think there was only one and that was Tara.

Yah, i guess the whole 'world is about to end and since u're here let's have some fun' thing was a good way to put it. But i guess it would have seemed more...Faith if it had been Xander, not Wood. I don't think Xander and Faith make a good couple or nething, lmao, I'm just saying it's more right than with Wood. But then again Xander was off having his own fun with Anya
With the Wesley and Willow thing, that would really be funny if they ended up in the shower together, the writers should do that newayz to bring some light into the Angel-Verse, bcuz we all know how dark the show got last season. I know Willow's gay but maybe she could surprise us and do away with Kennedy .
See I never liked Kennedy from the start, hate is such a strong word but it would be close to that for disrespecting Buffy and thinking she was the boss and all that, but I think that I had a little more respect for Kennedy when Kennedy started showing Buffy more respect and shut the hell up. So yah, I agree, when Faith told her to shut it, I think it finally made an impact because she finally started to listen, and I'm glad she did too or Faith would have kicked some Kennedy @ss, lmao. Which wouldn't be to bad, but I can't say that I like her, I just respect her a little more now. The whole "WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS STANDING UP FOR HER?" thing she said to Willow when they were about to kick Buffy out. She's always blowing things out of proportion and it may be a show but Kennedy doesn't really fit into it. I don't think she ever will either but yah, the look on her face when Buffy saved all their @sses was *extremely* priceless.
I have always thought Kennedy thought she was better than Buffy and it pizzed me off! But then, again, the look on her face when it turned out Buffy had been right was the look of fear for her life, lmfao. And that was more than enough to explain she was a little scared of Buffy's power, and Buffy herself. She (Kennedy) always acted so dominant but then she backed off, which was good.

I'd love to date a hott, super strength vampire slayer! Id start fights with 'biker gangs' everyday and tell 'me: 'You're all just a bunch of punks, why my girlfriend could kick your sorry butts!' Then just watch her whomp on 'em for practice. As Faith said.....um, n/m

I'd have to put Faith as my fave character because she was a sort of no holds barred kinda girl. I loved the banter between her and Buffy during season three.

Wow, okay, this was a very hard vote for me.
Uh.. I guess I'll say something about each character real quick.
I enjoyed Buffy's character until season 6. After she came back from the dead, she lost her spunk, which was the whole depression thing. We were made to believe that she got her spunk back at the end of season 6, but in reality, if you watch season 7, she never realy did. Her personality was VERY different. I mean, granted thats how real life is after someone battles depression, but it was as if I disliked her character after that change. However, in the first 5 seasons the charcter is definitely one of my favorites.
I was never really a big Spike fan. I didn't hate him but I didnt love him either. I never really understood why everyone loved him so much. I just kind of shrugged my shoulders and watched.
Willow was always one of my favorites, even in episode one. She always seemed the most down to earth. Even during her 'magic addiction,' it was a very real experience because that happens in every day life with drugs. We felt for her as she battled through that addiction and when she lost that battle we didnt know if we should feel bad or be mad at her for what she's doing. She was still great in season 7 as well, even though she did break down at times, but who doesnt? She was the most real to me.
I never liked Dawn either. Although I did start to warm up to her in season 7, she always annoyed me. People say she was the reason the show jumped the shark. Actually, Season 5 is by far one of the best seasons in my eyes. However, she did pave the way into Season 6 which I really dont hold as high (But "Once More, With Feeling"..... Words cannot describe my love). Dawn was just really useless after Season 5.
Xander is a character I really liked until Season 6. He was funny and then all of the sudden he kind of just... wasn't funny anymore. In a way Anya's blantancy kind of upstaged Xander's sarcasm, but he did have some godo moments. Season 6 was just an off seaosn for him, becuase he was spectacular in season 7. Especially in the last 5 episodes. Big yippie for Xander.
Giles... how can you not like Giles? His humor isn't really humor... it's him being honest and... British. He's just... awsesome. I cant explain it.
Anya is definitely one of my favorite characters, becuase she was never afraid to ask "Why?" Plus I feel that Emma is an incredible actress. If you dont agree just watch "The Body" when Anya has her break down about not understanding death. That was absolutely heart breaking. I always cry at two points in that episode. When Buffy yells "We arent supposed to touch the body" and when Anya has that monolouge. Ah, heart breaking. But anyway, I always found that Anya brought humor when things were most bleak and while her constant peppiness did get rather annoying at times, she brought flavor to the show, even in it's 'off season' (Season 6)
Now for Tara. Tara was a great character, however it was how they used her that made her seem... unneccissary. Her relationship with Willow was touching, but I think she was underutilized and could have been more. She was made to seem weak when really I think she had so much strength. She had strength when everyone else was weak. She almost seemed to take the part of mother when Joyce died and when Buffy died or when Giles moved. These kids had not matured yet but Tara had seen a lot in her life and could have had answers that the viewers weren't allowed to see.
Finally, Faith. God did I love Faith. I seriously do not see the need to explain this b/c... well just because. However, I dont think I can forgive the Buffy writers for how much they did not utilize her character in the last 5 episodes. It seemed as if they made an attempt to but then they just kind of said "Hey, she's here to fight. Lets not give the character more depth." Her character progressed SO much more on Angel. I loved Eliza's performance on that show. But I suppose thats how it was meant to be. Faith matured on Angel to come fight on Buffy. *Shrugs* Plus I suppose they were aiming to gear her for her own show. Which didnt happen. But then we woudln't have Tru Calling. So either way, we win.
Okay, I'm tired and I have school tomororow. Goodnight!
