And that's after they cancelled Family Guy and then the DVD's came out and then FOX was like, Oh no we're idiots and cancelled a good show.. We should put it back on.. OPEN YOUR EYES FOX cuz you did it AGAIN!!

Fox only brought back "Family Guy" because it is only a cheap cartoon: you can use a computer to create new episodes and the voice actors are pretty much paid with peanuts.
"Tru Calling" was canceled because it had a low Nielsen rating of about 4 million viewers.
The Fox network wanted a show with much higher ratings because the higher the Nielsen ratings, the more $$$ a TV network can get from advertising fees from sponsors and advertisers who want to run their commercials during the show’s broadcast.
"American Idol" is a smash hit with a least 17 million viewers.
Even "24" gets a least 11 million viewers per episode.
