who doesnt want to stay in skool? i noe its hard getting up in the morning but if u finish high skool and a post-secondary it will all be worth in the end when u face this world on ur own... atleast ull get up for something u enjoy and get the money u want and not get up to a job u hate and get underpaid or worse wont be enough to support ur finances that ull have to work 2-3 jobs... Like G said stay in skool!!!

i may hate it sometimes but i definetly want to stay in school.im going back to real school next year so yay for me. no not really .ill probaly start hating it again.

I'd like to get out of school as soon as possible. It's a prison, really. Just without all the rape. Or without some at least. Lets paint a picture, shall we?

We see a big two story school surrounded by a tall fence and a huge quad in the middle. Nobody's out there, but why? It's lunch time! We're all locked on the inside on this beautiful day, locked in the cafeteria with rude teachers and police officers walking around. A sound.. well, sounds and we see people rushing from one building to another, only to go back inside and forced to stay there for hours and hours until at around 4pm you get to go home and wait for another dreadful day of being locked up and tormented by the very rude and ferocious teens/adults [lots of those nowadays!] and doing things you'd rather not.

School is a scam but it just so happens we have to live through it--

I don't like people using their real names, or even giving out the town they live in, or naming any place that they ever go to.
Its a real and really dangerous world we live in, and 'you' may have a '13' year old friend online for months, that is really an adult just posing.

I started school in the hood, and I made the cl@ss bully work for me.
He, under my orders, had the entire cl@ss standing in a straight line at attention and quietly waiting for the teacher to meet us.
And when ever I arrived I just took my place in the front of the line.
That was in first grade.
I was something as a kid....but I lost all of 'that' because...

...I then moved to 'Opeyville' where you could leave you bike on your lawn and go play any where and never have to worry about anything bad ever happening......a place where kids could be kids.
It was 'The Wonder Years'.

Today that same town is a complete disaster, its not safe for anyone to even drive through.....lol which I just did late tonight dropping off a co-worker after work. I just saw that my old house is an empty lot filled only with weeds.

The world is a different place today....but having police in your school?

To me thats a failure of The Principle (don't re-peat that in school or to your friends!).

The Principle has 'The Hammer' and anyone that needs police in a school should be replaced, period.

Every school must be safe, secure, fun and a great learning environment or it needs a new 'leader'.

Police in schools?

The Principle should be 'God'.

And held responsible for everything.

You're being robbed, and its a disgrace.

I'd use my own money to make sure no one not belonging on the property enters.
If they do 'click-em' (have them arrested).

If students are bad, there are always copy machines to print out expulsions all day long, and a mile long line of parents waiting in line because THEY were called to The Principles Office would be sure to get results.

Eavesdropping, and locker searches by the hour if necessary would be great exercise too.

Entire school detention sounds like a fun afternoon if ya think about it.

All the more fun if none of the bad guys could leave without a parent picking them up.

Make life hell of the bad guys and they'll either leave or straighten up.

Then the school would be a school.

For The Principle, Police in schools just means 'I cant do MY job'.

Then 'Im' asking to be fired.

I say give the Principle what they ask for.



Hmmmmmmm, You're a very talented writer, maybe you should write a book about what school is really like, and make 'Bess' the author.

my old school had police officers at it to. pretty much all middle schools and highschools have cops now.

When I went to public school, which was almost a year ago, yes. We did have actual police officers walking around and there were fights [with weapons! knives were a popular sort] and tall fences. You'd think that if it were a school, there WOULDN'T be fights or police officers around, I mean, I get the tall fences, to keep potential predators out but I mean, police officers? I agree with you one hundred percent on that.

My old middle school went to 8th grade and then you know, highschools go for 4 years [right?].

I'm kind of happy now, though, because I'm homeschooled, even if I get stressed out a lot due to the fact that my mom really doesn't know half the stuff she's teaching us so she's sort of learning along with us.. kinda makes me think 'Gah! Am I learning the right stuff? Will I be ready for the next grade if I have insufficient math levels in my head, or science even!' You know? I'd rather get a professional tutor, which I'm saving up for with money from acting, so yay!

But my old school doesn't really sound that safe, does it? My old friend got in a fight with this older girl once and ended up bloodied and bruised, and hair missing since the other girl pulled clumps of it out. Yeah, and then I almost fell victim to a school fight, as well. But that's a different story for a different time.

We had 4 principles at our school. Well, 1 and then 3 vices. I vice principle for each grade, 6th, 7th, & 8th. Then one official principle for the entire school, but there were still 3 or 4 officers walking around and keeping watch. I actually knew the Principle personally, as well as the 6th grade vice principle.. I was sort of a trouble maker. But not to the point where I was threatening people with knives or even threatening at all. I was sort of just a goof off and when I disagreed with teachers, they would know it. So would the rest of the cl@ss because I would say it across the room! But yeah, 4 principles and 4 officers? Isn't that a little overkill? I mean, who in their right minds would hire 4 officers just to walk around campus and enforcing 'the law' whenever they saw a troublemaker? Don't you just wanna say 'Why isn't the principle capable of handing out punishment?'

You know, to tell you the truth, I think a school wide detension thinger would be fun! I never really hated detension, and I would know since I got it almost everyday from my science teacher. You just sit there and either grade papers or do homework or even p@ss notes, not that I was ever in detension with friends. I sound like a troublemaker but to tell you the truth, I was actually a good influence on a lot of my friends. I just also made my own mistakes, ya know. School wide detension afternoon, morning even! Would be so awesome. I'd like it.

Write a book on what school is really like... you know, I can see the outline for the project right now: 'School: Prison or Educational Center?'

i always wonder if my mom is teaching us the right stuff to.shes like we didnt study this our freshman year. it was a lot easier when we were kids. i was like yeah lucky you.but im always afraid shes just pretending to know what shes doing.lol

Ive been to 3 different high skools in 4 years my first high skool that i went too was in my neighbourhood that i was pretty much raised for a lot of years. Everybody knew everybody. But yea there were a lot of fites between two high skools in our neighbourhood and when i went to high skool in grade 9 they combined the 2 high skools and there were fites everyday, fire alarms pulled throughout the day until they finally decided to get cameras... well yea now they have police in that skool but my other high skool was okay besides the most ppl there were gay and then i moved here and spent 2 years here and this skool is pretty cool...

I find high skool pretty much aight! I get along with all my teachers and everyone... ive got the grades and the respect from ppl so its all good! Well, its my last year!

Yeah! Well i can graduate in June if i want too but i want to stay another semester after june just to get some more courses and i may take co-op! Well, high skool aint bad just be a real good person and ull get the respect from teachers and peers. So ur in grade 9 thats awesome... it must feel different but high skool has more freedom then middle or elementary skool...

Just dont ever skip a cl@ss it aint worth it! Ive never skipped in 4 years of high skool!

I've got cops in my high school too. But luckily, I've never been in his office. Where I live, We always have cop cars driving around looking for someone. Its just too bad I cant leave my bike on the front lawn anymore. Unless i want it stolen. Where I live used to be such a great place. But thankfully I dont live downtown. I live on the city limits. So its really not as bad as the city centre. Unless you mixed up with the wrong people. Now that, is not somehting safe to do. Alot of people these days are dangerous. It's almot scary how much people are changing.

I'll stayin school. No matter how much I can hate it at times, I still enjoy it. Plus, if I graduate, then i can really take my life places. Plus, my diploma may get me into some good colleges and universities.



Oh and plus, my mom says that if I study hard and graduate, she'll pay for me to go to Mexico with my friends. (So in a way, shes bribing me to stay in school)

School really isnt that bad. Although it may be for those who dont do all that great.
