I was surfing tvguide.com earlier and was reading some headlines when I came across this: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ TRU OR FALSE?: Despite lackluster ratings and virtually no critical support, Tru Calling has been picked up by Fox for a full season. Thats funny, I found the same news today, it said that TC was picked up for a total of 22 Eps, while earlier reports said a total of 20 because of a late start (October 30th)....but it looks like we'll get a whole season of TRU CALLING ...,we've still got to remind everyone that we know to check out at least one Ep...Ive gotten a few people so far...and still counting!  |

I actually convinced one of my good, good friends to watch this next episode so, I mean, even 1 person can keep the ratings up and from what I hear, more and more people are watching now, even the the ratings still aren't the greatest.

yay a whole season That means they gotta stay here longer to film more episodes... so more chances for me to meet Eliza again and meet some more of the cast |

Hey all, Well i cant say too much cuz i dont wanna eat my words but think about this...... If theyve signed Tru up for a full season it means they think its going alright....... As you said more and more people are starting to watch it..... And of course the biggest one....... It means that they now have a chance to open the big storyline......or atleast A big storyline (perhaps about her mothers killer) Now id actually put money on the fact that if they do the show will go on coz i can see that storyline being really gripping..... of course i just really hope i dont eat my own words.... cyas -J- PS Heres to hopin for a real long run coz then i might get to meet Eliza too  |

We cant let the fire go out, ...just because Fox has ordered a full season does not mean that they will SHOW a full season.... At 4. something million viewers per week TC is rocking on the rooftop... we gotta get more viewers... Angel does alittle better than TC, and look what network its on...this means its shown in fewer places, too....unless we get more viewers... :-( Better put 'Check out Tru Calling thursday nights at 8pm eastern on Fox!' ..in your 'Christmas cards'.. Eliza's not flying out to NY on every shooting break to do Carson or Conan because she simply loves to work 30 days each and every month... We gotta get the word out...while theres still time... |

I diasagree with u lovehandle93. I was a whole faith spinoff thing n all but this show rocks. U need to stop comparing faith to any other character eliza plays. Tru is not faith she is her own person. So her not fighting is her character and she saves ppl. I dont noe y u dont like the show but the show is awesome.

Tru calling is a really great show. You should give it a chance. Just because Eliza doesnt play Faith, doesnt mean that she isnt good in any other roles.

That's interesting LoveHandle93, that's what a lot of people think right now, since it's the beginning. The show has tiresome plot lines, it's 'tru' but for me, it's a rush watching it and think of Buffy, the first year wasn't it's best but the second year was concidered one of the best. I'd say give it a little more of a chance and I'm sure you won't be disapointed. |

I agree completely with you spikesgirl4ever. Just because she's not fighting all the time like in buffy doesn't mean this isn't a hit in the rising. It will do great.

U noe i think the first season so far and pray to God it goes for many years to come, that its doing an excellent job. Yea sometimes i feel like there needs to be a plot that goes on more then 1 episode but i guess when u dont noe if ur show will go a whole year u have to give it all and the best in each episdoe... but now with a whole season i think they will start doing a storyplot that will go on within the season. The 3 story plots i really want that mite happen or not is:
1. Tru having a relationship but not with Luc, i dont like him...
2. The actual thing that happened with her mom and what does Tru find out about her moms murder
3. What does Davis know...
I dont know but the way that episode ended i think he mite tell Tru that its not a good thing to help ppl who r going to die cz its like going against fate kinda like that movie Final Destination... but hey i dont noe im just waiting till next week....

it kinda reminds me of final destination to. i think it s great even without the plot thing going on. but it would be greatwith the whole plot thing. i think they already started.with the davis thing. it ended on one episode and picked up in the next one.

A.J. Cook was actually in Final Destination 2, and she delivered an amazing role.. maybe that's why you thought of that movie? |
