SPOILER SPACE . . . . . . . . . . . . . I loved this episode!
Poor Wes he went from a two fisted gun blazin' Rambo, to an uncoordinated geeky fool the moment his Father arrived at W&H.
Spike was hilarious, from his : Sex with robots is more common than people think'. (RE: The Buffy Bot) To his : Response to Roger (Wes' Dad) after he told Spike they had met before, while Spike was slaughtering an orphanage...
To which Spike responded:
'Oh, how have you been?'
And Gunn still 'got it', both he and especially Angel were in rare 'butt kickin' form tonight'. When Angel grabbed the chain from the @ss@ssin and swung it back at him around his neck!...he was just 'on his game' in this one.
And as soon as Wes opened the safe, I though, Oh crap, his Father sent the robot @ss@ssins just so he could trick Wes into opening the vault!...but, it still was a cool trick, un-expected.
Then when Wes is forced to shoot his Father.. anyone else notice that NINE shots straight to the chest was just a tab bit of over-kill...think theres some hidden hostility there?
Then Angel , in a vain attempt to comfort him, hits him with: 'I killed my actual Father'
To which Wes pointed out 'its not the same'. (Angel was a VAMPIRE at the time)
Next Wes meets, who else... Spike, who says: 'I killed my Mom'. (..Yea,....as a 'Vampire'..)
Next Fred walks into Wes' office... Wes says, ' If you're here to tell me how you've killed your parents , perhaps it could wait until another time'.
If that wasn't bad enough... Or, to make it even worse, and add insult in injury, at the end Fred found out how Wes really feels about her!....and in front of Wes, she leaves to go out with 'whats his name'...!
I felt for Wes in this one, and right now, he's the 'coolest' of em' all'....imagine, being able to do the right thing, no matter the cost....

Last night's Angels was so hilarious. Oh, wow. Specially Spike! He had some really great signature lines in that one. And my favorites are the following: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 'So you're ruling out the human boinked a robot?' [off their looks] 'Sex with a robot is more common than you'd think.'
'I killed my mum. Well, I killed her then she tried to shag me so...'
[re: Wes' father tells Spike how they met] 'Oh. (...) How ya been?'
[re: He breaks a gl@ss] 'Did you see that?!' [off their looks] 'Sorry...' ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'm really looking forward to next weeks episode, Buffy is sure to get more than a few mentions. The commercial said 'For centuries they fought over women' so it'll be a lot about how Dru started it but there's definately gunna be mention of Buffy.
Also, I dunno how exactly Angel will touch ghost Spike, but I'm sure someone with perform some sort of spell and MAYBE Spike will finally become corporeal.
I'm so glad that the writers have come off that whole Spike/Fred flame because if you haven't noticed it pretty much Knox and Wesley who are basically fighting over her with their eyes. I definately wanna see some of that grawring going on.
In this episode, I felt that Wesley really discovered his feelings for his father. And for Fred, as well. Because did you notice that RIGHT when the cyborg/father thing pointed a gun at Fred, he was in mid-sentence when Wesley started shooting the crap outa him. But I really liked this episode and it makes you so happy Wesley didn't stay a watcher, rofl. Also because, and I'm speaking for a lot of girls when I say this, he is very rugged and handsome now, not fidgety and... a geek. Heh.

Hey DC, quote: she didnt walk out on him he told her to go. She wasnt going to go but he insisted for her to go. ------------------- Women do it all the time, so it was cool to see a man finally do it to a woman.. by 'it', I mean telling her 'to go'. When women do it, its actually a test, and the man had better NOT go, or he'll live to regret it! But, WE know this...at least the vast majority of us do, and we don't 'go'. Ol' Wes was just testing her.. he WANTED her to give the old brush off to 'what-the-heck-is-his-name'?, and to stay with him, especially after he had just 'killed' his Father. We dont show emotions to other guys, but when things are really bad, we just may show them to the woman in our lives. Long ago, when I was really broke, I had just got off work about 11pm, and I had a choice, either get some cupcakes to eat, because I was starving, and walk about 100 blocks home, or take the bus...I bought the cupcakes, and promptly tried to swallow them all...they got stuck, and I couldnt breath, I dropped all of my paper work, and dropped to my knees, with tears running down my face...it was about 5 degrees out and the street was totally dark...so here I was choking to dead, down on the frozen sidewalk, with the wind whipping my work as far as the eye could see...and the houses were just too far away to 'make it'..I started punching myself in the stomache with both fists, and not soon enough, finally, coughed them cupcakes out...dayum, I would be 'hungry again',..after coughing and gasping on all fours against the frozen ground, I struggled to my feet and went staraight to a pay phone to call 'her', the her in my life at the time..and she promptly hung up for me for calling so late...at least I had the 99 block walk in front of me, to keep me company, I just regretted not bringing a coat that day....so, when the stuff hits the fan, we do reach out...just dont ever get used to it...ol' Wes will now act like 'it' never happened...I can see Fred trying to broach the subject in the future and him replying, 'What do you mean, I dont understand?' Its the way it is. ------------------- quote: I was pretty amazed he killed is supposed father for fred thats pretty deep. I cant wait till next week when its all over Drusilla and Angel and Spike go at it. Wut i dont get is how will Angel hit Spike hes a ghost. ------------------- Spoilers, spoliers,spoilers... Dru! Yeah, that will be very cool.. ..maybe Spike's not a 'ghost' by next week?..Or maybe he can hit Angel, but Angel in anger trys to hit him back, which he cant... We'll see...but the show is definately on a high note, I hope they keep it rollin'!

I've been hearing in several places today that Spike will temporarily get a body back because of the prophecy he and Angel are trying to fulfill. Maybe not just temporarily? Hm...
