Does anyone remember that movie? I certainly can and I want to know what everyone else thought of it. I think it probably could have been a much better movie if the budget was a bit bigger and they had better special effects. The acting wasn't exactly the best in the world either and there was a bit too much of the popular blonde bimbo thing going on as well. But I definitely found it funny, especially when Lefty (The vampire that lost his arm while chasing after Pike/Luke Perry) died. That was one of my favourite parts. What was yours?

Yeah...I remember it I thought it was kind of dull. Buffy diden't use as great of combat moves like in the show now. And I didn't like how after she staked the vamps they didn't dust. But yeah...I'd have to say it was good.

I loved the Buffy movie, I first saw it in theaters in 92, but the show is the greatest of course. I loved the movie though mostly cuz I think the valley lingo was funny, I liked Kristy Swanson as Buffy (SMG is the best for a long term Buffy though, very talented) and I had/have a crush on Luke Perry since his 90210 days. It was way diff than the show though so don't watch it expecting what you see on tv, its more goofy funny, not serious.

I do remember the movie. I actually just watched it the other day on HBO I think, [we just got a month of free digital cable, but anyway]. I watched it sort of expecting more from it than I got from it the first time around, to be perfectly honest the first time I saw the movie was maybe around season 3 of Buffy and I was majorly disapointed.
I really liked her watcher though, right now I'll call him Keifer Sutherland's dad because I forget his name, lmao, but I really liked his performance. I was never really a big fan of Kristy Swanson and the movie kinda turned me off to her all together because her acting was just so... eugh. I dunno, she does a good blonde bimbo type but after seeing the show and you go rewatch the original movie you just think 'Woah, she's out of line, that's not how Buffy is!' but then again it *was* the original movie so what would you expect?
So I was watching it the other night and I was hoping for it to maybe me a little better than the first time I saw it, god knows why I thought it would have improved! Heh. Well I was really disapointed, although not more disapointed than when I saw it the first time. It has it's good qualities but I'm gunna stick to the TV show for now, ya know?

I think I saw it before ever seeing an episode of the tv show and thought it wasn't bad but could have been better. Then saw the tv show and now I'm sure if I saw it again I'd be disappointed cause I've come to expect what we see on the show.
Oh and Kiefer Sutherland's dad is Donald Sutherland so I'm @ssuming that's who played Buffy's watcher in the movie.

I saw that movie like a year ago on Space and i watched like probably 15 minutes and i was like this is the most horrible movie i ever seen. They made the show wayyyyyyyy more better then that stupid movie. Honestly i was like wut the hell this, this cant be the show that was based on this ridicilous movie. If i had to give it stars it would b in the minus.

yep something like three weeks or a month ago they were filming a couple of blocks away and the trailers were set up a block or so from my house. So when Eliza was getting ready to head to the set I asked if I could take a quick pic of her (cause I didn't want to hold her up) and she was all "Well, if you'll be in a pic with me you can have one because I don't like being in pictures by myself" or something to that effect
