TC5! TC ROCKS ! This show keeps getting better and better! This one was Great, I cant believe each episode is better than the last one... I really thought all that inside talk about each ep being better than the last one was just 'hype'..but its all Tru.. And I cant wait until next week - Davis knows everything! ..I knew that he knew 'something' by his hints, but not 'every bleepin' thing.... Mega Kudos Eliza! I think you've got a hit on your hands.. Ive got to get Herc's address and send him some crow...I wonder how he likes it!? Kudos Kudos Kudos

I definately was thrilled with the thrillingness of this episode. Does that make sense? Okay...
I WANT MORE. MORE. MORE. AND MORE. MORE.
This was awesome... DAVIS KNOWS... EVERYTHING. I loved it, thrilling. Can someone build me a time machine so I can go to next Thursday and watch that ep.? It'd be much appriciated... oh come on... PLEASE? Fine, okay okay. I'll wait. But it won't be easy!
To tell you the truth, I didn't know I would be so into this! I guess some part of me was just not into the show. But now... how could they leave us hanging? I mean... HOW?
And you know what? People are sick. Rapists, abusive parents, alcoholics. Has anyone here ever read "A Child Called 'It'"? Or the rest of the series, 'The Lost Boy" and the third one... I can't remember the name. But anyway, this episode kind of made me think about those books because when I think about rapists it leads to abusive and alcoholic parents and David Pelzer. I don't know, I had to mention it. It's a must read!
But anyway... AWESOME episode, I'm really getting into this. It's a very gripping show and I, too, congradulate Eliza, she may have years more of doing this show and I'm hoping. FINGERS CROSSED.
Okay, so I loved it. I loved it.
... And did I say I loved it?

Hmmmmmmm, I guess I can say 'it'...I really 'loved' this ep... ..maybe they can put two ep's on a week? ...did I just 'say' that? Yeah, someone did some type of 'spell'.. lol

I know Alexis [Denisof] is trying to get Alyson to come on Angel... make he could convince her to appear on TC? Then the whole wiccan working mojo would be a possibility, mwaha.

It was a very good episode, coherent and dramatic, but lacking a certain amount of dramatic verisimilitude in Tru's methodology. What do you suppose would happen in real life if a young woman came running up to you, told you not to go where you were going to go, could not give you a remotely plausable reason to believe her, and kept pestering you after you made it clear that you were not in the least interested? The show's writers should go down to the harbor and watch the tugboats for while.

Hey Quarrel,
LOL Do you think that would help?
They might just make her save a scuba diver after that...
Its only been a few episodes, and the show is improving every week, but-they cant keep having Tru meet Harrison for lunch and Meredith in her office 'every day', how many times have we seen that?
I would add more danger and action, and a few more twists, also Tru's quite a 'detective', huh? Shes got to really screw up sooner or later, its just the odds involved with her 'job'...also, Id have her go back over the past 'events'...and answer some questions, too.
Why was 'another' #32 brought in? 'Isn't Mere wondering just HTH Tru 'knew' about the drug test!?' 'What did they tell the cops about Tru after the bachelor party?' 'Everyone gets hauled in to police headquarters and shes not?' 'The Bartender gave us all injections, we're fine now...!?' 'Does Harrison work? 'How old is he anyway?' 'Does Tru ever get to 'do' her morgue 'job'?' 'Is Lindsay really that naive?' 'Does Davis actually live at the morgue?' 'Why is only ONE body brought in?' Isn't that the City Morgue for Manhattan, seems like a low number.
TC is improving every week, and this last Ep was great..but they have to get to dotting the I's and crossing the T's.
BTW Verisimilitude?
Hmmmmm, now where'd I put my dictionary?

I think those questions would be saved for a two part episode, possibly a season finale? My biggest question is what Mere is gonna do to find out how her sister knew things before they happened, because she has to be catching on. I mean, come on. There's been more than one time where Tru did something quite odd around Mere, wouldn't she want to know why? What if she takes drastic measures, skips work, stays at home trying to remember all the peculiar things Tru has done in the last few weeks/months. Maybe she'll come up with the conclusion Tru is just insane? Also, I would like to see Tru mess up big. Lol. I liked the idea of that one. Where she's pretending to be someone in a case where it's illegal to do so and the person she's talking to figures it out, leaves for a minute to call the police, and while walking around, 'secretly' heads Tru to the cops where she gets taken in? How would she get out of that one? Better yet... what if she couldn't save someone? That they'd asked for help, for them specifically, but screwing up in the 'detectiveness', got them killed anyways? How would she deal? So many possibilities... so many more episodes for this season.. and yet the time seems to stand still.

Let us send appropriate flowers to the Fox network for running new episodes into the holidays--unlike some network that we could name that ekes out its pitiful supply of programming with repeats at every opportunity. Note that foxes eat frogs.

Heya guys! New here, figured this would be the best place to put a post. I've been a huge fan of Eliza since Season 3 of Buffy and I absolutely adore Tru Calling. Anyway, I feel that this was quite possibly one of the best episodes yet because not everything was made better when Tru goes back. She had a wonderful day and when she goes back everything that went right goes wrong (Except for Luke... but it started off wrong, so it counts ) and most of the things that went wrong end up going right. So there seems to be a balance in the scales here. I did sort of expect Davis to know what's going on. They really foreshadowed that before. The thing that sticks out most is when he told Tru he's surprised she's stealing supplies already, it took him awhile to do that. Unless he's a drug addict (Which I doubt), something was up. Still, they had to make it a twist by putting it at the END of the friggin' episode! *Sigh* I'm just glad they didn't wait until the season finale to do that. First of all, in case the show *Prays to god this doesnt happen* doesnt get picked up for a second season and also because dragging that plot angle out would be grueling after awhile. So waiting one week compared to forever is quite nice Also, I recall in an interview, Eliza made a comment that one of the interesting things about the show is that Tru won't always be able to save everyone. Should we take this as a bit of foreshadowing that sometime soon Tru is going to mess up? I mean, that sounds sad but it's bound to happen. It'll give the character depth, we need to see how she'll respond and react to this. I could go on forever about the possibilities, but I do not want to bore everyone :0D I'm glad I came across this message board. Hope to talk to you all soon! ~Mike

Welcome Mike! You made some good points, waiting a week to find out what Davis knows seems like forever...imagine it as a season ending cliffhanger! BTW Nice Avatar

Hey Mike! Welcome to the board and nothing will bore us, we're all pretty boring so yah know. LOL, okay j/k. Anyway, I heard the same thing in an interview, that she wouldn't be able to save everyone, which I look forward to seeing how she reacts if she can't save someone that she was actually meant to save.
I too thought that Davis was hiding something, little did I know it was he knew everything! He's always been a bit... odd. Off, wacky, wrong. I knew he wasn't quite normal and it was getting me all giddy because I wanted to know what it was about him that was off! And now we know.. a week seems like an eternity but these days eternities are going pretty fast for me because I SWEAR it was just yesterday that I watched Tru Calling.. maybe it's my weird sleeping patterns getting to me, making my time all wonky. But I'm just glad Thursday is this week and that mighty FOX isn't playing reruns of some major shows, including our infamous TC.
Quarrel,
[This was edited] I was watching 'The Simple Life' with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, don't ask, and on a commercial break there was this commercial telling about how FOX would keep playing all new episodes even when other networks didn't including the WB, and right after they said 'And the WB' there was a thing were someone stabbed a frog. LMAO it was hilarious! Maybe not for the frog though... but it was priceless.
Frogs.. never liked 'em anyway.
